Indian School of Business (ISB)
Indian School of Business (ISB) sees entrepreneurship development as critical to economic growth, prosperity and social equity at all levels of the society, and across all nations. By imparting knowledge that blends global best practices with relevance to emerging economies, we are committed towards grooming future leaders. It is with this vision that The Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (WCED) was set up to focus on how to build the ecosystem needed to nurture and develop an entrepreneurial culture that would consider the broader societal and environmental challenges as an integral part of their future business.
The Entrepreneurial and Venture Club (EVC), an initiative by the student body at the ISB, also provides means to facilitate entrepreneurship among students by conducting workshops with faculty and business leaders from the industry. It provides a common platform to facilitate harmonization of teams amongst prospective entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the club nurtures a platform for individuals from family businesses in order to address their specific concerns and enable them to draw from the knowledge that resides within the student body with family business lineage.
ISB believes that student diversity is a very important element of an international education. It is with this mission that it has successfully created an environment that comprises of students with diverse backgrounds and global perspectives to add to the richness of both the ISB learning experience and the ISB community.
The WCED is delighted to participate in the innoTrek as this will help students move a step closer towards fulfilling their entrepreneurial ambitions. Furthermore, we are sure that the diverse professional experience of our students will add great value and contribute towards the rich and stimulating experience of this programme.
